Vision, Mission & Values
As a central procurement agency of the Philippines Government, the Project Award Commission plays an important role in assisting government across a wide range of procurement policy areas to ensure its outcomes are met. The prime objective of the Commission is to support government programmes by obtaining value for money through acquisition of works, supplies and services. To meet this objective, close attention is given to price factors as well as nonprice factors such as whole life cost, quality, quantity, timeliness, maintenance and warranty. The benefits or value from procurement should commensurate with the costs involved and that the best procurement is well and thoroughly evaluated, reasoned and justified. In this context, the Commission is based on the following summarized principles; Public accountability | Transparency | Value for money | Open and fair Competition | Fair dealing.
Vision "Building and sustaining an efficient country procurement system that meets international best practices"
"To professionalise the process of procurement that ensures Transparency Efficiency, Competition, Integrity and Value for Money to support National Growth and Development"
